Our school held a Turkey Ball event, which involved students versus staff in various sports in all three grade levels. The spectator's "ticket" into the game was a non-perishable food item, which was then donated to local families in need for Thanksgiving. Our school collected over 1000 lbs of food and promoted physical activity!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and staff promoted healthy active lifestyles by competing in Speedball, Ultimate Football, and Basketball games. Student spectators donated food for local families for the holidays as their "ticket" in.
