Underwood Souper Bowl of Caring Helps our Community
Our FUTP 60 and Nutrition Council team along with our PE teacher took the lead to organize and sign up for Souper Bowl of Caring to help our community that is in need of assistance. We made signage, advertised in our school newsletter and on our school website. It was a huge success for us and working together we were able to help hundreds of people in our community. Our pantries are always low on food and toiletry items this time of year so we helped them stock it back up.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

There is always a need in our community, especially this time of the year, and our school will always be a part of the community so it will be easy every year to put together some type of food drive to help. As long as the Super Bowl is happening, we can join with Souper Bowl of Caring and use the football and Super Bowl theme to have fun.
