Every grade level in the school took turns running in the Upchurch Fun Run! Students raised money by receiving donations per lap ran! Students worked very hard to run until they reached 35 laps. Students got a great stretch beforehand and had a ton of fun!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Students had to build cardiovascular endurance to be able to run 35 laps. Older students thrived, while younger students needed to persevere while we trained and prepared. We worked very hard as a school to have everyone reach our goal. Also, the weather was super hot the day of the Fun Run! Students had to remember to stay hydrated and work their hardest, even in the blasting heat!
