We just completed our Kickoff this morning at Valley Park Elementary! We have monthly assemblies and during that time there is a movement activity and we reintroduced Fuel Up to Play 60 and we gave away a mini helmet signed by the Rams punter Johnny Hekker. He was so excited, he cried.

How did you accomplish your goals?

I showed the school who the student Ambassadors will be by having them stand, and the students gave them a big clap for helping them remember to eat healthy and move!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

I wasn't sure how the program would be accepted, but I decided to move forward anyway and it was well received.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and teachers all participated in a movement activity together during the assembly.
