Vaughn Walk and Bike to School
On Wednesday, October 4th, we had our annual Vaughn Walk/Bike to School Day. Our school has over 550 students and more than half participated in this event! Our Healthy Lifestyle Chair along with other parents were able to get donations (water & fruit) from Sprouts for our kiddos to enjoy once they got to school. Parents, students and teachers all joined in on the fun! It was truly a success!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our campus worked together as a team by not only participating but also working together to get the word out there. Using our wonderful PTA, in our PE class, in the flex class, on our weekly announcements, parent newsletters, and through student council we able to communicate the information to everyone.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goal by working together as a group to make sure our event was a success! Our school is truly on board with the health and wellness of our campus!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

This is our second year to be open at our campus and I have seen improvements! We are not just talking about health and fitness but finding new ways for everyone to be a part of it!
