We focused on our Salad Bar this year! We started our salad bar last year but it was small and the kitchen staff needed equipment to help decrease prep time. We were able to add a commercial grade food processor and a vegetable spiralizer to their prep kitchen. We also added accessories for salad bar serving and containers for food and condiments. I had our kids do a taste test of their favorite vegetables that are offered and carrots and broccoli were top of the charts! We have also put up 6 wall hangings over the past 2 years that have really brightened up our cafeteria!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

The salad bar was offered throughout the year to staff and students and has become quite popular.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

We have added wall hangings to spruce up our cafeteria!
