Vinyl Clings

With FUTP 60 grant money, I purchased several different color vinyl clings. Each color was cut into different shapes, using the die-cut machine.  The students created labels for each of the different colored shapes. Labels were: Vary your veggies (green), Make 1/2 your grains whole (orange), plus the other 3 food groups. We used yellow to promote reducing sugars and fatty foods. The other colors/shapes were used to "Get plenty of sleep", "Play 60 minutes a day", and "Take care of your heart". They are displayed on classroom, office and cafeteria doors.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The FUTP 60 kids and the Wellness Team sat down to create the labels together, print, cut and hang.
