In the past four years, our lunch periods have been lengthened to give students more time for homework. While this has been a great resource for students to utilize their time more wisely, it doesn't always happen that way. We saw more students sitting around on their phones or iPads, leading students to become less active. We decided to change that! On Wednesdays, twice a month, we incorporated fun games in the hallways to get our students moving! We set up ping pong tables, four square, bean bags, and spike ball. Wacky Wednesdays have turned into a great success! Not only are students being more active during lunches, they are having fun with their friends!
