Students met at 2 locations this morning and walked with their parents and teachers through the safest route to school. The Student Team led the walk and helped as safety patrol at crossings.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students laid out the safest route, led the walk and brought up the rear to make sure no one was left behind. The Student Team advertised this event during morning announcements and made posters to advertise it as well.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are right now planning this event twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Eventually, we want to make this a monthly walk to school.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Cold weather and parents afraid that it was too cold.
