Physical Activity Participation

The Wildwood Student Health and Wellness Team celebrated Walk and Bike to School Week. They created a banner, yard signs and gave weekly announcements promoting the benefits of walking and biking to school.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to save the signs and banner for yearly Walk to School weeks.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Since we've started our Health and Wellness Team, students are more aware of healthy choices when it comes to diet and exercise.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students came up with ideas on how activities should play out. Healthiest Lunch Contest was completely student-driven from announcements to judging to blending 60 smoothies for the winners.
