FUTP 60 came up with this great idea to get the entire school engaged in an activity once a month. We call it "Walk and Talk". We go outside and walk the playground field for 30-plus minutes  as a entire school. We not only wanted to get everyone at Pioneer to be more active, but we wanted to do some type of activity where we could talk and mingle with different students and get to know them more.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We talked with the principle and our school leader to see how to can make this work with all the grade schedules.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Be proactive about picking a date and making sure to work around the weather.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

FUTP 60 kids were really good about getting the Walk and Talk started and the staff was really supportive to make it possible
