Walk the Track for Miles

On May 4 our Fuel Up to Play 60 team, in collaboration with the Hudson Middle School Health and Wellness committee, participated in the community event of Walk/Bike to School Day. On the this particular day, all students were directed to the track before 1st Hour classes started to walk a lap or more around the track. All students who either rode their bike to school that day or walked the track received a stamp and were eliglible for great prize bags. A mojority of our 1300 students and 100 faculty participated. This event was very successful and led to implementing a "Walk the Track" for a lap every Wednesday morning. Way to go HMS Raiders!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

On May 4 our Fuel Up to Play 60 team, in collaboration with the Hudson Middle School Health and Wellness committee, participated in the community event of Walk/Bike to School Day. A majority of our 1300 students and 100 faculty participated. FUTP 60 team members were instrumental in promoting this activity and helping to guide and direct students who participated.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
