During this Play, students were able to complete a walking path that was set up for morning and lunch recess. Students were able to walk and receive "feet" for every mile they walked. This gave students the incentive to be moving.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students had to work with the staff to know how many laps they walked, get the correct sticks and hand them in to their classroom teacher to receive the "feet".

How did you accomplish your goals?

I accomplished my goals through the help of others. The recess staff did a great job in helping get the students organized. Without the classroom teachers patience and willingness to take the time out of their day to hand out all the "feet", this would have never happened.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to use this Play every fall and spring before it gets too cold and once the ground thaws and there are no wet areas for the students to walk into.
