Our student team presented the benefits of in-class activity breaks to the classrooms teachers at their monthly staff meeting.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students worked as a team to each come up with a benefit of using brain breaks in the classroom. They brought their idea to the principal and asked for permission to present at the monthly staff meeting.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are asking the teachers to incorporate the activity breaks in their classrooms throughout the year. We will survey them at the end of the year to see if there was any improvements in classroom behavior, attention span, and test scores.

How did you accomplish your goals?

They demonstrated several popular brain break websites so the teachers could see how they work. The goal was to show how easy and fun the activities can be and that they don't take up a lot of time.
