Our student team gathered various beverage bottles and calculated the grams of sugar in each drink. They demonstrated the sugar content by using sugar cubes. The students displayed the demonstration bottles with the sugar cubes in the lunchroom for the school to see during the lunch periods.
What improvements have you seen at your school?
We have noticed already students have been selecting drinks that have less sugar like milk, water and 100% fruit juice instead of bringing fruit drinks and sports drinks to school.
