Our Middle School Student Wellness Council is made up of 17 seventh and eighth grade students. This year, the Council has planned a Walking Challenge to help increase students' physical activity at school. This is a 10-week Challenge during February, March, and April to see how many students can walk at least 100 miles during the school day. The students have obtained prizes to give to students every 25 miles. The Council will also present the American Diabetes Association's Diabetes Busters program to students on March 22, 2016 during the ADA's Alert Day, an initiative to stop Type 2 Diabetes.
