We asked the school district and also used some of of FUTP 60 grant money to put 3 water bottle dispensers in the school for fresh, clean water for students to encourage water drinking. We also put a sugary drink display in the cafeteria to show students and staff about the high sugar content of many common beverages.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

More students are bringing water bottles and using the water bottle filling stations.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We talked to the school district about our water fountains, and told them that one wasn't cold, and the students didn't like the taste of the water. They helped buy and install 3 new water bottle filling stations, so the water is cold and tasted better.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We feel this is an improvement in health for our students and staff and will be around a long time.
