Since I teach P.E. half the day, we decided to do a kick-off that would involve prizes and challenges. Our kick-off was to get new and current students in our building involved! We started off getting the word out at an open house to parents and students with a table and display. On the table, we featured information that parents could take home with them to be part of Fuel Up to Play 60. I will have a story following this one that is the part we featured in our gym!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will continue accepting new challenges that excite the entire team!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Kids are wanting to play more outside with equipment such as jump ropes, balls, and hula hoops.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students stopped by to pick up items and coloring sheets and discussed the event with their parents.
