Physical Activity Participation

Our students participate in three tournaments every school year; they get to compete in martial arts, soccer, and tennis. They represent our school and do a fantastic job. I am so proud to see how they have grown over the year and how I have heard they have grown over the four years that this school has been going. They set an example when we go to tournaments and hold the bar to a very high level. They are always looking to find new things to try in class and those who go to tournament are always looking to want to do better and improve so they can win.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges is making sure our students have the equipment necessary for them to succeed. We are able to provide different equipment for them and have available for them to use for different events.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We work together as a team, we keep communication up and show our students what we do and what they are capable of. We also are able to show growth over the course of the year in what they do which helps to boost confidence.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We strive to have our students active and moving. We make sure that they get fitness every day and know what is available to them when they are not in school. They learn skills that will help them when they are home to help them excel in whatever they do.
