Physical Activity Participation
When we have an indoor recess day, our students stay active. Sometimes, you may see them walking the hallways with their class and classroom teachers. Other times, we have shared Brain Break videos with all the teachers that allow students to take quick Brain Breaks between studies, or choose longer Brain Breaks to take the place of outdoor recess. Finally, our students use GoNoodle to be physically active by dancing, doing cardio, even using cross curricular games to exercise our brains and our bodies. We have shared these resources with our families during our "Specials Nights" so they can use them at home and be active together.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We have shared these resources with our families during our "Specials Nights" so they can use them at home and be active together.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The teachers take this time to get in a bit of exercise as well, by walking with or exercising with their students.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We are still working towards "accomplishment" but by making resources easily available, we have a great start.
