Who is Really Listening?

On November 3, five of our students represented Cook-Wissahickon Elementary at the GENYOUth AdVenture Capital Event located at SAP Headquarters in Newtown Square, PA. Students designed a project and pitched their idea to a panel of judges.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students worked alongside mentors while designing their very own project that promoted health and wellness. They received feedback and guidance from their mentors throughout the course of the event.

How did you accomplish your goals?

One of our students presented a project titled "Who Is Really Listening?" Her project was selected to receive a $1,000 funding grant for her to carry out her project at our school.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We are very excited to see her implement her own project idea and anticipate that there will be obstacles or challenges she may face along the way. The school FUTP 60 Club will help assist her in the implementation of this project!
