Success with Funds

Hudson Dairy in Fulton NY donated 400 4 oz orange juices for us to give to students during our annual Fairley Elementary Physical Education Holiday party. At this station, the students colored healthy fruit sports coloring sheets. We then made the "Wishing you a Fruitful New Year " board to reinforce the learning for when we came back from holiday vacation.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Adults secured the donation request. The students enjoyed drinking the OJ, and coloring the coloring sheets. Fun for students and teachers!

How did you accomplish your goals?

We selected the months of November and December to talk about Healthy Fruits. The board was the culminating activity!
