Physical Activity Participation

We started a walking club in Woonsocket and walked once a week. The kids love it! They walk around our beautiful lake which is over a half mile long round trip. Some kids do it twice, and some kids do it even three times! We have teachers who also walk with the kids!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

When it is cold outside, we do aerobic activity in the gym!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The kids love getting a little exercise in the morning and it makes them feel better during the day!
