Yogurt, Fruit and Cereal Parfait for National Breakfast Week
Granville Middle School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America students made yogurt, fruit, and cereal parfaits on March 6, 2017 and gave them away to 400 students before school.

How did you accomplish your goals?

The strawberry yogurt, strawberry, and cereal parfait shooters got the student body excited about breakfast and eating dairy foods for breakfast. They loved these shooters and thought that this was a great random act of kindness to promote breakfast eating.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The members of the GMS FCCLA worked to make and serve these to the school's student body. We worked with the principal and food service director to sponsor the activity.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

This activity kicked off National Breakfast Week and got the students thinking and talking about eating breakfast and how great yogurt was. They loved the breakfast posters, which taught them in an indirect way, about the important concepts about breakfast.
