We knew that we wanted to do something fun and different for our students, so the committee came up with Zumba for Fun. Once a month we have one of our Café Ladies who is Zumba certified to teach each grade a Zumba class. The students had so much fun and they really got into the dancing.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to offer classes to each grade and by the end of the school year each grade will have experienced the fun of Zumba.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished this goal by meeting with the gym teacher and team captains and came up with a day, time, and what type of activities that they wanted to do. They came up with Zumba. We met with the instructor and told her what we wanted and she made it happened.
