This month, ADA Mideast and the Cleveland Browns kicked off their month-long celebration of National School Breakfast Week and National Nutrition Month with a “Breakfast with the Browns” event for the books! Joel Bitonio of the Cleveland Browns spent the morning with students at William Cullen Bryant Elementary school to stress the importance of eating breakfast every day. Check out a video of the awesome event here.
The event started off with Joel and Chomps (the Cleveland Browns’ mascot) attending school breakfast in the cafeteria with over 200 students! They also met with child nutrition staff, passed out breakfast items and even went through the breakfast line to grab their own breakfast to enjoy with students. After that, Bitonio and Chomps visited a class room to talk with students about the Breakfast in the Classroom option, participated in a Classroom Brain Break, and signed the Browns Breakfast Pledge Banner.
On top of all that, ADA Mideast had another School Breakfast event earlier this week at Mayfield High School featuring Austin Reiter of the Cleveland Browns as a special guest barista! Be sure to keep your eye on @ADAMideast for updates, but in the meantime, check out this gallery of photos from their last event!
